International Student?

We know that in many school the requirments to be studying like an international student are very dificult but in Angelo STate University that is not a problem
here you will see all the information you need to become a international student in our school.

"Admission RequirementsTo enroll in Angelo State University, an international applicant must have on file in the Admissions Office all of the following items by June 10 to register for the Fall semester; by November 1 to register for the Spring semester; and by March 15 to register for the Summer semester:
Mandatory US $50.00 non-refundable application fee (to be paid by International Money Order).
Application for admission.
Official transcript(s) of previous academic record (high school transcript and US college transcripts).
Acceptable scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System IELTSand the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I). *See Test Scores
Supplemental Information Form for International Applicants.
Official Financial Statement Form completed by sponsor and original bank statement or letter (with amounts in US Dollars) with original signatures on both forms.
Residency Questionnaire.
Housing Application (including US $150.00 deposit & US $50 application fee) if you plan to live in University housing on campus.
To determine if non-US college credit is transferable to ASU, a student must have transcripts evaluated by a credentials evaluation service.
Application for Admission
Fill out the application carefully and completely (PLEASE PRINT OR TYPE). Mail the application along with the US $50.00 non-refundable application fee to the Center for International Studies. The application cannot be processed without the application fee. This fee must be paid by International Money Order to prevent delay in processing of the application. (If you apply online, you may pay with a credit card or mail the US $50.00 international money order immediately.)
Official Transcript
A first year UNDERGRADUATE student should request his secondary officials to mail to the Center for International Studies at Angelo State University his official transcript, complete with the school's seal and signature of the Registrar, immediately after completion of his studies. Photocopies not bearing the original mark or seal of the school are not acceptable. A student entering as a transfer student from another accredited US college, university, or junior college must supply an official sealed transcript from EACH SCHOOL attended, including his secondary or high school work.
Insurance
All international students are required to purchase each Fall and Spring semester at the time of registration the group hospitalization medical evacuation and repatriation insurance plan provided through the University. The approximate cost of such insurance will be US $1326.00 for the calendar year. International students who fail to purchase insurance will not be allowed to register at Angelo State University.
Test Scores
Since all classes at the University are conducted in the English language, it is essential that every student whose native language is not English have a sufficient knowledge of English to be able to go at once into our classes. Scores on the TOEFL must be submitted for the University to determine the applicant's proficiency in English. A TOEFL score of 550 or above (paper-based), or 79 or above, or IELTS score of 6.5 or above is required. ACT or SAT I scores must also be submitted by undergraduates with a minimum English sub score of 17 on the ACT or 430 on the SAT I.
The institutional code for Angelo State University for the SAT and TOEFL is 6644, and the ACT code is 4164. There is no institutional code for the IELTS examination (the testing agency should mail official results to the address below). Tests should be taken at least eight weeks prior to the appropriate application deadline to ensure timely receipt and processing of results. We will use your highest test score from one test date. Supplemental Information Form
This form must be completed by international applicant. It is used to determine country of birth and country of citizenship.
Official Financial Statement Form
This form must be completed by the applicant's sponsor guaranteeing the applicant's financial support while in the United States. A bank statement or other certified proof of financial support (with amounts in US Dollars) must also be attached (bank statement or letter from bank, both with an original signature).
Housing Application
A reservation for a room in one of the Residence Halls must be made during the school year before the student plans to attend Angelo State University. Reservations are made through the Residential Programs Office, and a US $50.00 application fee and $150.00 deposit must accompany the application. International money order should be made payable to Angelo State University.
Approval for Admissions
After the international applicant has met all Admission requirements listed above, a Form I-20 Certificate of Eligibility will be issued. "
